Tuition & Photo Walks
I offer photography tuition tailored to individuals and small groups, working with photographers at all stages – from complete beginners to those looking to refine their approach. I’ve been teaching photography since 2012 and have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of people over the years, across a wide range of styles including street photography, portraiture, abstracts, and more observational work.
My main focus is on 1-2-1 sessions and small groups, allowing the training to be shaped around your interests, pace, and experience. Where there’s enough interest, I’m also happy to arrange workshops.
Alongside shooting, I provide post-processing tuition in Lightroom and Photoshop. These sessions can be delivered in person or online and are always geared towards developing a workflow that feels natural and repeatable, rather than formulaic.
For a more relaxed experience, I also offer assisted photographic walks along the Felixstowe promenade and local coastline. These are unhurried, supportive sessions – ideal if you want to build confidence, slow things down, and spend time really looking. Whether you’re drawn to light and shadow, quieter details, or simply want to get more comfortable with your camera, the emphasis is on observation rather than equipment.
